PUSPAKOM Inspection Requirement
One of the mandatory requirements for PUSPAKOM inspections for all e-hailing or Grab drivers is to equip the vehicle with essential safety items. According to the PUSPAKOM E-Hailing Inspection Guidelines (Version: Dec 2021), every e-hailing vehicle must have:
- First Aid Kit: The kit must comply with the specifications outlined in the PUSPAKOM guidelines to ensure it contains the necessary medical items for emergency use.
- Triangle Safety Sign: This is required to alert other road users during breakdowns or emergencies, helping to prevent further accidents.
- Fire Extinguisher: A functioning fire extinguisher is compulsory to provide immediate response in case of small vehicle fires.
These items must be present, complete, and in good working condition during the inspection to meet compliance and obtain approval for e-hailing license.
